Greyfriars Bookshop is a service provided by Greyfriars Church, Reading, and is situated on the site next to the church.
The bookshop was started in 1983 at the time when Greyfriars Centre was completed and was managed from then on by John Brown for 27 years.
On his retirement, in 2010, Debbie Thompson became manager, working with the help of Anna Hobby (part time) and a team of dedicated volunteers some who have been supporting the bookshop for many years...
