We specialize in theology including Bibles and prayer books, but we also stock a wide range of other subjects. We now have over 15,000 books online, with thousands of additional books on our shelves.

We are principally mail order and internet traders without a high street shop front, but visitors are welcome to see our stock housed in a large purpose built store room. We are situated on the outskirts of the old town of Sudbury in the Suffolk Countryside.

We can be found on Bridlington's main shopping street, right next door to Leisure World. We hold a wide variety of Christian books, cards, videos, music and gift items, as well as some computer software and a small secondhand book section.

We receive new stock regularly and are happy to supply by mail order for those who are unable to visit personally.

Bethany Books is an independent Christian bookshop and stationer offering a wide range of products including Christian books and Bibles, dictionaries, children's books, colouring books and local interest books.

Bethany Christian Bookshop first opened its doors in September 1985 in rented premises in Long Bridge St, Llanidloes - paying a rent of £3 a week! A couple of years later the shop moved to its present location in 1 High Street, a prime site at the top of Great Oak Street in the heart of the town.

The Bookshop began life as an initiative of St Idloes, the parish church of Llanidloes, whose congregation donated the initial £1,000 to buy stock. The shop proved so popular that this was quickly repaid. Later, responsibility for the shop was taken over by Cytûn, the Churches Together group in Llanidloes.

Today Bethany is an independent bookshop, run by a local management committee representing the various churches in the town, and staffed by volunteers...

Welcome to Books Alive, we are nestled in the middle of a residential area of Hove, from where we serve many of the churches and schools in the city of Brighton and Hove and much of the surrounding area.

We have a real heart for our community and see many of the local people in our shop. As a team we feel called to serve God through providing great Christian resources to individuals and Churches and through our ministry support local schools and Christian organisations as well.

If you are looking for the latest book, a CD or a DVD, a card or gift for that special occasion or just to encourage someone, then we are here to help you. We also now have a great range of second hand books in stock at competetive prices (over 1500 on display at any one time) - and we will do our best to help you find that book you want which has gone 'out of print'.

More people enter our hospitals than our churches today. Being in hospital, especially as an in-patient, can be difficult. It is often a time of stress for the family, a time of questioning, and a time of worry for the future. Christians are called to care for the sick, and reach out with comfort and love. Message from the new Trustees

The Buxton Christian Bookshop was closed in December last after 27 years of trading. With expressions of encouragement and support from local people and churches a new Board of Trustees has been appointed with a refreshed mission to serve the churches in Buxton and the surrounding areas, the Christian community and those interested in the Christian faith, and the shop is now being re-launched to open again on 1st July.

The shop premises are currently undergoing refurbishment which will result in a bright, fresh, comfortable and welcoming environment for customers inside and a new look externally. A completely new and interesting stock is being acquired with bibles, books of devotion and thought-provoking issues of ethical and religious interest, childrens' bibles and books, quality cards, gifts and music. There will be a small second-hand book section with carefully selected quality books. A quiet area with comfortable seating is being provided in the rear room for people to relax and browse...
