Mission Statement Encouraging a Christian worldview through Christian literature.
"Wow!" This is not an unusual reaction of many first time visitors. Our shop is so much bigger on the inside than it appears from outside. Take a quick tour to get an impression of our extensive resources. Established in 1976, HCB is the leading supplier of Christian material in Havering...
At the Heath Christian Bookshop, we strive to supply books that introduce non-believers to the precious Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and that encourage and sustain Bible believing Christians to live more Godly lives. We are a Cardiff based bookshop and tea-room that delivers a warm and welcoming environment for anybody who wishes to visit in person.
We are a family and volunteer run independent Christian Bookshop located in the centre of the town of Oban - a holiday resort and gateway to the islands. The bus and railway station and taxi ranks are nearby, also the Western Isles ferry terminal is close at hand. We enjoy serving the needs of all churches, fellowships and people of Oban, the surrounding area and the Islands and the many visitors who visit our town and now further afield with our website.
Situated only 4 miles from Hull and on a bus route from the city, Hessle Bookshop is conveniently located for people from Hull.
Customer Comments
This is a small shop which is in two sections: a general section and another equal-sized section devoted to Christian books. This used to be a separate business, Our Lady of Lourdes Bookshop (indicating the RC origins) but it carries a wide selection including mainstream Protestant and Evangelical publishers in addition to Roman Catholic resources. Willing to order material as requested.
HoldFast Depot was established in 1991, continuing the work of an earlier Bible depot which had existed in Tunbridge Wells since the early 1900s but had recently ceased functioning following the proprietor's decease. The shop opened in 1995, specialising in evangelical, fundamental, dispensational, and non-denominational literature.
We stock the publications of Chapter Two, Believers Bookself, Bible Truth Publishers, Loizeaux Bros, Kregel, John Ritchie, Scripture Truth Publishers, and many other evangelical publishers.
We have a good selection of Bibles, specialising in KJV, Darby, and Newberry. The friendly volunteers that serve in the shop look forward to serving you.
HoldFast can also supply many foreign language titles and Bibles and all items are available by mail order or from our website.
Mission Statement HoldFast's mission statement is summed up by 1 Tim. 2:4, "our Saviour God... desires that all men should be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth". We aim to promote the Christian faith, bringing the Gospel to the unsaved and helping Christians to grow in their faith, irrespective of their denominational affiliation.

The Hope Centre, is an initiative of Hope in North East Cheshire.
It is based in the old Wesley Owen bookshop in Park Green, Macclesfield. It functions both as a coffee shop, and a Christian bookshop selling books, CD and other fairly traded goods. In addition to these commercial aspects is is designed to provide a beacon of hope to the people of Macclesfield.
Mission Statement The Hope Centre exists to provide a means by which the churches of Macclesfield and the surrounding area can in a practical and unimposing manner reach out to the people of the town with hope and compassion.
Opening Times Monday, 9.30am - 4.30pm
Wednesday to Saturday, 9.30am - 4.30pm

Originally located on the site of the former Wesley Owen bookshop in The Crossing at St Paul's, The Hub relocated to its new location on Stafford Street in October 2011. The store is operated by mother and son team Christine and Luke Bunger — both former Wesley Owen employees — and continues a legacy stretching back over 40 years to the independent The Beacon Bookshop, which in turn enjoyed success as a Scripture Union bookshop before its acquisition by Wesley Owen.
In their own words now:
The Hub is a Christian Bookshop with a difference.
We are not content with just selling Christian books, Bibles, gifts, cards, multimedia and resources (though we think we do all of that pretty well).
No, we want to be the hub of the Christian community in Walsall.
We believe that Christians in Walsall deserve a place on the high street to meet, chat and network. We believe that Christianity isn't about which Church you attend, or what denomination you belong to (though these things are important), but about meeting Jesus, and others who feel as strongly about him as you do. We're independent, not run by any Church, or affiliated with any one denomination, so whoever you are, there is sure to be something for you...
