Support SPCK's Booksellers
In October 2006 SPCK handed over control of its bookshops to the Saint Stephen the Great Charitable Trust (SSG). For some time SPCK had been struggling to keep the bookshops afloat and when SSG offered to step in, it seemed that salvation was at hand.

Sadly, however, it wasn't long before that apparent salvation turned sour as those in control of SSG imposed working requirements and terms of employment that many booksellers were unable to accept and found themselves out of work. To make a donation to help support these booksellers, please hit the button below and follow the simple step-by-step process. Your donation will be securely processed via PayPal, who take a small fee for handling payments. Apart from that fee, however, all donations will be redistributed to the booksellers.

Fund Administration
The fund has been set up by and is currently being adminstered by Phil Groom, UKCBD Webmaster and Reviews Editor: any enquiries, suggestions or offers of assistance should be addressed directly to him and ex-SPCK booksellers wishing to draw on the fund should contact him. Proof of identity will be required and the maximum payment to any individual beneficiary is currently set at 33% of the available balance.

Details of donations received and support payments made will be recorded below. Donors and recipients may choose to remain anonymous or provide a pseudonym, in which case identities will be omitted here but will be recorded offline for accounting purposes. This information will only be disclosed to third parties if required by law.
