Shoemakers is a Christian venture for Newbury in Berkshire, which opened on 17th January 2004.

Mission Statement
Shoemakers' aim is to both reach the unchurched with the gospel message and assist in building up the faith of believers through operating a bookshop, coffee shop and related activities, working in a way that promotes Christian values.

Mission Statement

Previously trading as a very small business called Jireh Books, Cinnamon now occupies one of the biggest shops in Newton Stewart, a former supermarket with a huge upstairs area which we plan to develop as a church community centre run by a trust management committee.

Downstairs we have a café/restaurant doing sit in meals and takeaways.

We are Traidcraft, Tearcraft and TLM (The Leprosy Mission) traders & stockists. Our emphasis is Fair Trade, which we sell and serve.

Book Agency service for local churches

We are a family run Christian bookshop, established 1967. In 2000 we moved into "Crimond House", a 5000 sq. foot premises, for the comfort of customers and staff. We stock a wide range of books, Bibles, cards, gifts, pictures, music, video, children's books, etc. We serve a bustling local Christian community and provide a mail order service anywhere.

LST Bookshop is the on-campus shop at London School of Theology, operated in partnership with Maranatha Christian Bookshop, Uxbridge.

Just a brief note to say that the new LST bookshop in partnership with Maranatha Christian Bookshop in Uxbridge is up and running. The shop is open from 10:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. We also stock a wide range of fair trade gifts and food. Orders can be made throughout the year, not just at Christmas!
