Sarum College Bookshop is a Christian bookshop which specialises in academic theological books. We supply books in response to telephone, fax, email or web based requests. We also hold a stock of second hand theological books and are happy for people to contact us when they are looking for a specialist book.

Southport Christian Book Centre is an independent Christian Book Shop which has been trading for over 50 years.

We sell a wide range of Christian books, Bibles, Christian Music and Christian DVDs, cards and gifts. We have a large selection of prayer books, assembly books and Bible studies. We offer a friendly and personal service and free postage on any orders we receive through the shop. We have a children's book room with an extensive selection of children's books with a play area to keep your little ones busy!

We are able to order any book in print including American titles. Most orders will arrive within 48 hours. We offer a sale or return service to any Church wishing to have a selection of books on display for Alpha courses, or for a regular bookstall. We are also able to offer books for conferences, Church away days and ladies' and men's groups.

Mission Statement
At the Southport Christian Book Centre we put Jesus at the centre of everything we do. We firmly believe that reading of Christian literature can and will enrich and encourage your faith. Christian books are essential in our spiritual journey to help us in our walk with our Lord and Saviour. We see our work as a ministry on the high street, a place where people can come and browse, enjoy the atmosphere and escape the hustle and bustle of the town centre. We are able to pray with people and be a listening ear to those who are having a bad day.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, it is his word and is all true. It is therefore a great privilege to be able to put Bibles into the hands of people.

The Minster Shop is a Cathedral gift shop, selling a wide range of Christian books and gifts. Stock is regularly updated from publishers including Lion, SPCK, Church House, Kevin Mayhew, Canterbury Press.

There is a wide range of church music, hymn books and gifts and cards for Baptism, Ordination, Confirmation and First Communion. Communion wine, wafers and church candles are held in stock. There is a good range of resource books.

Situated within the Cathedral building, the Bookstall offers a wide range of religious and secular publications appealing to a large local congregation and the many visitors and tourists throughout the year.

Current religious bestsellers are always displayed and there is a good range of bibles, prayer books and books to appeal to young people of all ages. The range of high quality greetings cards for religious and other occasions is acknowledged as the best in the district.

The associated Gift Shop is located nearby in the Chapter House. It stocks a good range of CDs and audio cassettes, particularly of choral and organ music, amongst a wide and varied selection of religious items, ornaments, jewellery and other gift merchandise.

Mission Statement
The Cathedral Bookstall and Gift Shop operate with predominantly voluntary helpers as part of the Cathedral's 'Ministry of Welcome' to the local congregation and visitors from far and wide. We hope to provide a relaxing environment to complement the experience of a visit to this historic place of worship dedicated to the martyrdom of Alban, and to offer support, information, inspiration and guidance.
