WITH THE EXCEPTION of Weston-super-Mare and Watford (now trading independently as Life WsM and Storehouse Watford respectively), all remaining branches of Living Oasis ceased trading in August 2011 when parent company Nationwide Christian Trust entered administration: Nationwide Christian Trust Enters Insolvency (UKCBD News, 4/8/2011).

The Shop That Never Was
This shop was expected to become part of the Living Oasis Christian retail chain in 2010 as part of its takeover of most of the former Wesley Owen bookshops. Unfortunately Living Oasis were unable to secure a lease on the former Wesley Owen premises: plans to open in Croydon were put on hold and finally aborted when NCT entered administration in 2011.

Nearest Alternative: In Tha House, Thornton Heath.
